STUDIO VISITS - ARTIST INTERVIEWS

Sophie's Art Tour is a research project and much of that work involves visiting the homes and studios of artists and arts practitioners all over Vietnam. By listening to the experiences of artists who have witnessed and documented major changes in the country’s modern and contemporary history it is possible to gain a deeper insight into the personal narrative of the nation and the experiences and motivations of each generation as they live through eras of colonialism, war, independence and breakneck globalisation.
